Should I choose ChemiCloud Storage Optimized or Accounts Optimized reseller hosting?

The short answer

Choose Storage Optimized for fewer, larger customer accounts and Accounts Optimized for more, smaller accounts. ChemiCloud trades cPanel account capacity against storage between the two models; measure both before selecting a tier.

In more detail

ChemiCloud offers two reseller allocation models: Storage Optimized emphasizes disk space, while Accounts Optimized emphasizes the number of cPanel accounts. The same tier name can therefore represent a different balance. Treat the model label as part of the product identity when comparing Kickstart or another tier.

Our recommendation is to make a customer inventory with current storage usage and the number of separate accounts you actually need. Include site files, databases and mail usage where applicable, then allow room for expected growth. Ten small brochure sites and ten image-heavy stores should not receive the same storage forecast just because the customer count matches.

Check the largest accounts individually as well as the total. Spare account slots cannot compensate for insufficient disk capacity, and unused storage cannot create additional account entitlements. Compare your projected demand against both limits before moving to a higher tier. Keep this capacity decision separate from the prices you charge customers: a plan fits only if its allocation can accommodate your real portfolio without depending on every customer staying small.
