A NEW CHAPTER

A fresh look. A clearer comparison.

Welcome to the redesigned HostingCompass. We’ve rebuilt the browsing and comparison experience to make it easier to explore hosting, domains and the providers behind them.

01

Find the right starting point

Explore hosting by product type, location, application or payment method.

02

Compare the details that matter

Bring plans together to review pricing, specifications and billing terms side by side.

03

Look beyond the first price

Compare domain registration, renewal and transfer offers in one place.

Still improving, with your help.

We’ll continue refining the experience and expanding the catalog. Prices and availability can change; check the provider’s current terms before purchasing. If you spot a missing detail or something that doesn’t work, let us know.

Can I bring an existing Node.js or Python app to hosting.com AI Application Hosting?

The short answer

The product page explicitly supports bringing code and lists Node.js, Python, PHP and Rust, with Git-based workflows. Treat that as a starting point: verify your application’s exact runtime, build process and service dependencies before choosing a plan.

In more detail

hosting.com's AI Application Hosting page lists supported language families and deployment from Git or development tools. It also advertises environment management. This makes it a candidate for an existing application, but the page does not establish that every framework version, background worker or external dependency will work without adjustment.

Our recommendation is to prepare a short deployment specification: runtime version, build and start commands, environment variables, persistent files, database connections and scheduled work. Ask for confirmation of any requirement not described by the product documentation. Test a small but representative version of the application, including the parts that contact outside services or write data.

Compare the Startup and Business catalog entries only after checking that deployment model. Count the applications you need to run and review the current storage and delivery allowances. Keep secrets out of the repository and decide how configuration changes will be reviewed. An app that runs on a developer's computer is not yet a validated production deployment; choose the service when the real build and operating process is clear.
